Celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Madonna have made headlines with the adoptions of their African children. And while adoption certainly isn't new to Hollywood, there was a time when adopting outside of one's race was considered quite unusual. Some have even criticized these celebs for "skipping" over the thousands of black children here in America who need good homes. In any event, Angie and Madonna aren't the only Hollywood stars who have adopted or given birth to children of color. This list might astound you... Joely Fisher (actress) This actress and sister to Carrie Fisher is most known for her smarmy role on the hit show "Desperate Housewives." “Jersey Shore” fans: Prepare for a tiny spinoff. Rumors are swirling that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is pregnant. Sources says that the guidette is expecting her first child with boyfriend Jionni LaValle. Apparently, the 24-year-old has been taking notes from the Kardashian family and wants to "bankroll her mommy-to-be status into becoming ‘the next Kourtney Kardashian ." The publication goes on to claim that the Kardashian-in-training has a deal with US Weekly for an announcement on the cover of its magazine. The paper points out that the pint-sized TV personality denied pregnancy rumors earlier this month, telling Lara Spencer on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” “I definitely do want kids, but I’m not pregnant.” But now chatter on the Web is that the celeb was hiding the truth. A source for E! Online confirms that the star is about three or four months along. If she is, it’s unclear how this will work with her most recent project, a show with castmember Jenni “...
Who are celebrities or celebs for sho Mini Biography Elizabeth Taylor is considered one of the last, if not the last major star, to have come out of the old Hollywood studio system. And not just any studio, the top of the heap: MGM. Her early movies, as a child in the early 1940s, starred such Hollywood luminaries as Orson Welles and Spencer Tracy . She quickly grew up, however, and by 1950 was, if not starring in, assuming major responsibilities for the success of motion pictures she appeared in. Then with major roles onscreen, came worldwide attention off-screen, most notably due to a succession of famous and/or rich husbands and a series of health crises throughout her life. To put it simply, Elizabeth Taylor has lived a life far more exciting and dramatic than any movie she's ever appeared in and probably most any other movie you could name. She's known internationally for her beauty, especially for those violet eyes, with which she captured audiences early on in her yo...
Sunday the 24th of June was all about "Trending with Labi". It was a time for good music, great food, interesting games, networking as well as conversations around fashion, social media and writing. Guests were super hyped for the event and Labi didn't fail to deliver. The venue, the SGC lodge(isawo, ikorodu) was lit with sprawling blue and white ambiance. The high point of the event was the games for it garnered maximum audience participation. The interactive session with the experts had mixed reaction from the audience who felt they(the experts) were bored talking about their fields. Although, they shared great and lasting ideas. Being the maiden edition, TWL can be forgiven for some lapses characterised by the event. Focus should be paid to infusing a robust and fuller content. Notable mentions: Labi's family was in the building. The look on a proud mother's face is a keeper. 2. Mr Johnson Abbaly graced us with his presence and left us spell bound aft...
